Stone sheets were created by accident in 1995 when a furniture designer (German Gernot Ehrlich ) noticed that when resins used for slate tiles were removed from the surface of a broken table, some of the original stone remained stuck to the resin. 
Stone veneer is a natural material composed of thin layers of slate, mica, or genuine marble. Each veneer reveals unique nuances, variations in texture, and plays of light, making each light fixture a unique piece.
