French Craftsmanship

Each Atelier Maus light fixture is the result of a handcrafted manufacturing process entirely carried out in our French workshop. From cutting the steel to the patinated finishes, each step is executed by hand with meticulous attention to detail.

Our patination and controlled oxidation techniques give rise to unique finishes: shades of rust, warm copper tones, deep black patinas, or even subtle verdigris. No two pieces are identical; each light fixture bears the imprint of its creation.

We work exclusively with high-quality materials selected for their quality and their ability to reveal light:

Patinated Steel

Patinated steel forms the structure of our light fixtures. We develop exclusive finishes: black-brown patina, polished copper, bronze powder, or rust oxidation. Each finish is protected by a varnish that preserves the nuances while revealing the subtle textures of the metal.

Natural Slate Sheet

The anthracite grey slate veneer provides an authentic mineral texture. This finely crafted natural material diffuses a soft, nuanced light, creating an intimate and refined atmosphere.

Translucent Mica

Mica , a natural stone with exceptional translucent properties, comes in several shades: luminous white, structured copper, or silvery green with subtle reflections. Its ability to filter light creates unique plays of transparency.
