With over 15 years of experience, Stéphane Mausmond is a passionate craftsman, creator and manufacturer of furniture and lighting.
By exploring the material, his work reveals its richness and natural qualities. He unveils its brilliance and beauty through precise designs with clean silhouettes.
With training in art and crafts, his self-taught spirit has allowed him to acquire a personal and distinctive expertise. Combining the patinas of steel with the delicacy of stone veneer, his work gives his light fixtures a unique quality of diffusing a refined, deeply nuanced light rich in gradations.

  • Steel

    The lamp bases and metal lampshades are created from raw carbon steel.

    Patinas are created by chemical and thermal oxidation and by metallization.

    Steel is surprisingly unpredictable in the formation of its patina. The composition of its alloys, the exposure temperature, the ambient humidity, and the degree of corrosion all contribute to sculpting the surface. Intense heat can alter the hues, while high humidity accelerates oxidation, creating varied textures.

    These cumulative interactions generate nuances, spots and iridescence that make every square centimeter of steel absolutely unique.

  • Stone Leaf

    Natural stone veneer is an innovation in the field of decoration.

    The slate, mica, or marble blocks used are neither treated nor reconstituted: the block is broken down layer by layer by manual removal. This technique preserves the stone's hues and the natural colors of this exceptional product.

    Translucent stone sheets diffuse light, creating a unique effect. They retain the look and texture of natural stone, adding a touch of luxury and authenticity to any project.

  • Electrical components

    The electrification of the lamps is done with quality products, all meeting current French and European standards.

    The cotton-covered cables and sockets are made in Italy. The plugs and switches are made in the European Union .
